I was driving through an intersection one evening and looked across at the cross walk and saw a couple waiting to cross.
I parked and went right over to them. They were very sorry to about it and did give it right back to me.
They got scammed. We all felt like crap.

I did. And it also never goes out of sight now either. Learned a lot about the people that live in my neighborhood.

Could just as easy have been a drive-by. My friend's snowblower got stolen out of her driveway last winter, she wasn't in the house 5 minutes when it vanished.

The transaction for selling the stolen stroller happened at the corner of my street about a month after it was taken.

They ever find the snowblower? That sucks man!

We live in an evil world. Most in positions of leadership promise to work to undo the evils. But when they achieve the position of leadership they usually find themselves protected from most evil.

The world is getting more crowded and unfortunately there is a large percentage of the population that has no regard for the people living around them

That will stop as soon as you walk over and piss on their tires. As you walk away just look at them and say "we good".

Good to hear you got it back. Do you think they are the ones that grabbed it last year?

No. I think they were totally legit with their story. We had a nice conversation on the way to their place.
They got taken by the asshole that took it from my front porch.
I feel bad for them. Not sure how it worked out for them in the end.

I have one to add. My daughters first Christmas we bought a blow up Santa Claus for our front yard that she loved. I put everything on a timer like always. One night, my wife and I came home and noticed that Santa wasn't blown up. Went to investigate and damn it, someone decided they liked Santa more than I did. They left the tie downs and the $65 extension cord and timer to take a $45 Santa. That's why I now have a surveillance system around my house.
