Well...yes and no. I stayed in 2wd as much as possible to keep wear down on the driveline and tires, so I know that probably 95% only needs 2wd. Trouble is there is about 4% that needs 4wd, and about 1% that needs a locker and 4wd (those tend to be bypassable). Trickiest part for 2wd is when there is a washout/ravine where you have the potential to have 1 of your two back tires off the ground. If you have a rear locker in your prerunner, I would bet that's almost as good as 4wd unlocked.

 

One of my first offroad meets was at Long Ranch when I had my Prerunner. It was fun, but I soon traded in and added me a transfer case. Much more enjoyable.

It looks like it's trying to move a little to the west when it hits. So we may be getting the clean side of it.

I already told Amy that if they cancel work, I'm going kayaking in downtown.

 

I'm wondering how the bayou will do. They have been releasing water for almost 2 weeks now. It's already about 4' above normal.

 

I'll just go camp out on the highest bridge in houston and watch the water rise
