Are there any big sponsored events in CO around Thanksgiving? My folks are moving to Fort Collins, and if I can find an event to sponsor up there I can write off the trip, do some wheeling, and visit with the family. Three birds one stone. :D

    Thanks

    Nathan

Ran up 285 this afternoon to scope out some camping spots. Went up Hall Valley and checked out Webster Pass and Red Cone. It's gonna be a late season run for sure. The gate on Red Cone is still closed and got up Webster to the big mine at about 11k. Big 7'snow drifts were across the trail still. Someone attempted to go further up but they were way off the right shoulder of the trail. I chose not to make a bigger mess of that. 20150613_173242.jpg 20150613_174645.jpg 20150613_180534.jpg 20150613_180648.jpg 20150613_180711.jpg The summit of Webster Pass has a 10' cornice drift on it still.

Hit a little trail north of Steamboat today screwing around. Snow was scattered around 9,500' where I turned around. I want to wheel!

So does anyone want to hit up any other trails next weekend? I'm down for a challenge. Don't really care if there is snow or not. It's all about support and having fun and most of us can do that. At least we can have fun and learn something while doing it out there, wherever that may be.

I will probably be down for something, assuming something fun opens up. I hope to finish my rear bumper today/tomorrow and hope to get it media blasted and coated then reinstalled before next weekend. If I get that done, I can make it.

I tried Weston pass today and it's still a no go. Got stuck had to winch. Was a total cluster we got thru the first big snow field and hit another and decided to turn around.

Little Husqvarna 435 with a 16" bar. Got to support my fellow Scandinavians when I can. Really all I need for what I use it for. Spends a fair bit of time on the front of my KTM as well.

If it hasn't gotten better, I'm sure we can hear you squeaking over the supercharger no problem!

Pole hill opened up today! I was also able to get my bumper dropped off to get a coated and it will finally be done! Does anybody think they will have time to wheel this week?
