You should get the new Bilstein 6112s for the front so you can let me know how they ride! ;)

I had 20% on my 99 Tacoma and it was pretty dark. Never got hassled but I was always worried about it.

Tint is not necessarily part of the inspection procedure (specifically unlawful in VA code, but not in inspection laws), only the following:

INSPECT WINDSHIELD AND OTHER GLASS FOR:
    • Approved type safety glass.
    • Cloudiness, distortion or other obstruction to vision.
    • Cracked, scratched or broken glass.
    • ALL UNAUTHORIZED STICKERS MUST BE REMOVED.
    • Sun shading material on windshield displaying words, lettering, numbers or pictures that does not extend below the AS-1 line is permitted. In the absence of an AS-1 line, sun shading material on the windshield displaying words, lettering, numbers or pictures cannot extend more than three inches downward from the top of the windshield, unless authorized by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and indicated on the vehicle registration.
    • Operation of left front door glass.
I've never gotten harassed (although I do have firefighter plates) and never had a problem with inspections.

We need to go to Gore. That way we can camp, drive on the trails, and shoot at their range.

Yeah it's not cheap, but then again it's not cheap to keep a place like that open. They have a lot of stuff you can do there.

I ended up going alone and ran into a guy doing the trail in his stock 4Runner. Had to pull him off of a hill that he high centered on but overall even with all the rain the trail wasn't horrible.

I found him on one of those hills but he managed to un stick himself by the time I pulled my gear out and then a little further down he found some little side trail that he really stuck himself on.

Yeah alot of those side trails are a bit too steep for trucks. Quads use them mostly.

Just made an appointment this afternoon with Exceptional Tint in Alexandria. Quoted $95 bucks -cash for 20%. It's closer, and seems to be a local guy who has some good reviews.

Anyone had an experience with him? His name is Cesar..

Never heard of him. I used a guy in Chantilly to have my windows tinted.

    Hey everyone!

I took a little month long hiatus from TW lol had a bunch of shit going on with work/fiance graduating and moving into my apartment/other stuff but im back now. Sounds like you had some fun in Edinburgh Patrick. I'm definitely down to go sometime, but it'd have to be a weekend. I'd really be down to take a trip anywhere if someone is interested, I would just need a few weeks notice to make sure I don't get scheduled to work or that I have plans made for me.. haha

Can't help you with the tints since I dont have any, but where in Arlington are you located?

Anyone interested in heading down to Edinburgh to hit up Peters Mill Run this Saturday? I think Hugo and I are heading down early in the morning to try and beat some of the traffic. Should be fun with all the rain forecasted for this week.
