Since your in SB do you think I could offer you lunch and a couple of 12 packs to help me trim my fenders? I'm not the straightest cutter when it comes to a saw.

I wouldn't say I am either, but mine did seem to come out okay. It's a lot easier to do then people think. Are you trying to do all 4 fenders? HC rear bumper or something?

We might be able to work something out sometime, but I don't really have any free weekends until the middle of July, at least. I've got 3 road trips and another 8 day vacation coming up. :D

I wouldn't be planning on doing it until after I finish this linear algebra class I'm in. I'm trying to do all four to prep for 35s lol. And lucky I gave up all serious trips to catch up on a couple classes haha

Hey Chris, how much clearancing was needed to fit the 34s? I was thinking on getting the same in either KO2s or RT03s, and I'm hoping to just trim stock fenders a bit, as well as a CMC and a little firewall clearancing

Sounds good man. I still have to do my rear (for 35s as well! ;) ) so maybe we can set something up and do it at the time. I'm always willing to help out when I can.

Fyi, I took almost every math class UCSB has to offer and nonlinear differential equations was the bardest! I pray you don't
have to go that far! :)

Didn't need to touch rear. The front I took out 2" in the fenders and 1.75" in the flares and it fits just fine! Had to add 3/4" spacers in the front to get the tars off the UCA and it just barely kisses the frame now. I'm okay with it for now though. I rub a tad when locked and in reverse at the cab mount (even with the cmc. I have to cut it cack a bit more) but nothing else. Nothing needed for the firewall. I'm more worried about the top of the fender well. It gets really close up there. I think I have a pic somewhere..

I've got a better pic on my work computer that I'll post tomorrow, but this shows it a bit.

Yea I'm mostly worrying about the CMC and the body panel with 34s and 35s. With my 33's I rubbed full lock reverse as well, so I'm definitely going to have a super chopped back CMC. Was just curious how 34s rub and what I should prepare for...they are so I can clearance slowly for 35's hehe.

Just picked up my DMZ kit, so I'm debating on cut rear fender with my camper shell, or seeing what flat top glass will look like (with better frame support to prevent glass failure)

Even though I barely rub on the cmc that tyler did, Im going to take it back as much as possible. Just so I never have to worry about it again. I haven't had to mess with the rear yet but I suspect 35s will change that. I'll be keeping the stock fenders though. Just going to chop chop and chop where needed. Haven't seen a set of fiberglass fenders that I actually like yet. If anything, I'll make my own.

Discrete Math & some computational algorithms class are the last math classes I need to take. Thank god haha. I want to stick to stock fenders because I would like to keep my snorkel, if it comes down to it though. McNiel makes a 4" flare that doesnt look half bad which will work for whenever I do TC 2' kit.

From the pictures were rubbing in almost the same exact spot.

Yea I've seen a couple guys that have basically cut at the flare line perfectly and made it look good, but it was also pointed out to me that if I'm going to having a huge BS wheel and/it spacers to clear shocks, or a new axle for that matter, my tires are going to be hanging Paar the fenders like crazy. I'm leaning towards glass with some extra under frame supports and the camper on top, and then when it bugs me, take it to a fiberglass guy and see if he/she can mold the camper to the glass a little better

I've seen a couple first gens with it and It actually didn't look half bad. I'll rock it for a while and if I hate it i'll look into an additional piece of moulding of fiberglass to mold around the topper

Yeah, I'll be doing a Softopper sometime in the near future. Try to save on some weight in the rear over having a shell.

Alright, I need some help trying to figure out where this horrible noise is coming from. It only happens when I turn at really slow speeds. I can't figure out the origin of it cause when I'm under there while it's running it sounds like it's coming from everywhere!! What makes it even more weird is the fact that when I wash the truck and spray off the front end it goes away for 1-2 weeks. Any ideas?

I wanna say body mounts creaking as you turn the tire, but obviously a rubber on metal squeak.
