Yeah I know it was probably BS if you see my original comment. Looks like they changed the specs on that same Wiki page to 215 hp, 229 ft lbs of torque from my original post which you can see in other's quoted text.

If it actually is 229 ft lbs of torque, I would pass on the 3rd gen.

Wow, so now people are resorting to changing Wikipedia lol. How about we just say the new engine is powered by unicorn farts and gets 50 Hail Mary's per blow.

Just FYI Wikipedia is great when the articles are properly cited. I often used those citations back in university to find other articles for references for really obscure papers.

The problem with the Parkinson Cycle engine, is its hard to balance. The new Parkinson engines use a Tri-Equilibrium balance shaft

I think you are confusing the Parkinson Cycle with a Spin Cycle. Spin Cycle is only a setting self cleaning engines.

Oh no. Spin Cycle is always in operation, as the crank shaft spins. That being said.........if you run a Parkinson Cycle engine with no oil, then it goes into permanent Press mode........

You are missing the point of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is supposed to be an encyclopedia that naturally evolves and changes with the passage of time. Like anything that's written by mortal hands you should always check the references. Those references often lead to primary sources, when the page is done properly, that can be used in scholarly papers. Trust me, I was a Genetics Major.

I used Wikipedia whenever I hit a research dead end and it saved my ass several times. I never cited Wikipedia directly. Doing that would be retarded. Often the citations for the Wikipedia articles though would lead me in a new direction to the information I was looking for.

Don't forget to set the thermostat for cold/cold in Permanent Press mode for the best mileage possible.

Yeah but you don't need that until the engine has at least 60,000 miles or 60 years, which ever comes first.
