So it seems our 50's Diner here in town just closed for good. Maybe it's time to get all Back To The Future II and have an 80's Diner. :notsure:

We have Chases Diner here and its 50's. Lucky for me it stays very busy!

It was a time I thought looked like fun but I didn't get to live in. Also a nice change of pace from the normal restaurants.

Nothing is hotter than a fat sweaty trucker lady sweating all over your hash browns.

I used to go to Waffle House all the time. Then we found the chicken and waffles place down the road that's open 24 hours.

Sometimes I like going to places to remind me of a time before the Internet, smartphones, stuff like that.

Ever 2 year or so I raft the Grand Canyon with my dad just to escape technology and reboot myself. Freaking love it. The first few days are rough as I do go into a bit of shock from not having any technology other than a watch.

Just saw a commercial for Buffalo Wild Wings with William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence from Karate Kid. So awesome.

Yeah. They're pretty good. There is one about 25 min from me, now there will be one 5 min away.

Nah the one I've been to is really good. I figure I might wait on the new one, until the staff settles in.

that place is growing like mad. A new store pops up every time I go in there. I just wished Lowes didn't move from Woonsocket, that was a half mile from me, now its a drive to get supplies.

Patriots Diner. They have a lot of the 40's magazine covers and ads on the walls. Maybe I shouldn't even call it a theme.

Texas Roadhouse is opening there too. It's going to be hard choosing between the two when I go.
