I haven't used a pulley puller in a long time but on a similar Eaton it took me about 5 minutes to get them off and about 10 to put one back on.

No I didn't heat the oem pulley... Because it's on the shaft, it'll transfer that heat and essentially not benifit you. The pulley puller alone will do just fine, as long as you put it on straight. I rented mine from a local oriellys.

I just bought the tool from URD, figured I'd spend the $40 for something designed for it.

Pulley puller or pulley install tool from URD? When I got mine they didn't offer a pulley puller from urd, just an install tool. I used the urd install tool.

Oh, you're righr. Just the install tool. I assumed it was a puller as well as install tool.

So, I have this weird moment (I don't want to call it a hesitation or flat spot, but...) where when I'm on the highway, mash the gas, and right before it shifts down there is just a pause. Anybody else have that? I'm not sure if it was always there and now I'm just sensitive to it, but it's bugging me. When I take off from a dead stop or just roll on the gas there's not an issue. It's when I go from cruising to hammer down.

Hmm. That sounds like it could be a great idea. I wondered if there was a calibration effort that needed to occur. I looked for vacuum leaks and found none. I figure that would through a code anyway.

Rock Lobster also has issues with a hesitation on his truck too. He has the same trd blower btw. I don't know if he has the maf calibrator on his though.

He has hesitation through the whole band though, because he put a potato on his engine and thought he had a GTO.

I saw a very nice Goat the other day. Thought of RL. I could add a TT GTO to the stable. Blower whine or turbo whine. I'm good with either.

Nothing like the sound of a pair of turbos spooling up compared to a blower.

    Sorry, sound wise:

    Naturally Aspirated V10 > Turbo > S/C

I've been in a Viper a few times. The noise when the foots to the floor is pure gold to the ears. Plus then you don't have to look at the Pontiac symbol on the wheel every time you glance at the gauges :p

Well the only V10 NA I like is the F1 V10. The V10 viper for me never sounded right for some odd reason. It reminds me of the V6 engines. Not throaty enough like a V8. It's hard to explain. I've driven and rode in a M5 V10 a few times and I wasn't too impress with the way it sounds. Same goes for the 2nd gen Viper I was riding in. The sound is "off" for me. Granted the power is amazing but the sound doesn't sound right.

No heat required. But then again the supercharger was brand new. ...
