I'm totally opposite... Every time I see something about her I think of Dave Chappell's racial draft. Cracks me up

It's amusing to me that the NAACP basically forced her to resign.
    Tha's Races.

I of course love everything about the NAACP and support all of their policies, even the questionable ones, without reservation.

Shrug. When the mods firebomb our thread we'll know who to blame, then. :D

I still feel awful about that!

Ha. Have you ever driven to the top of Maine? It's bigger than most people think. Takes 6 to 7 hours to drive to through the state south to north.
    Sounds like fun
IDK. I don't think there is any real sign up for non-member events. Where are you staying? Erik and I are staying at a campground a couple of exits down.
I only saw that once but I was like o_O she's

I'll likely stay at that same campground. I don't mind primitive camping, but if I'm not backpacking I see no need not to stay somewhere without running water and showers

Wow those Metaltech one's aren't cheap. What do other vendors offer?

Is that for a DD or just as a tow rig?

Other vendors offer the standard tube style with kickout some with optional fill plates. Pretty much the same as taco sliders, anywhere from $315+ . I think Alex has the toyota rock rails. From the internets the toyota rails ate more than strong enough, just can't use them as steps which is why I would have to get the nfab removable steps for them.

Depending on how seriously you plan to wheel the FJ, I'd get sliders with the kick out. Seems like that kick out can really save you from damage plus give you a nice step to stand on while washing the roof or using the cargo rack.

Ya that's what I'm leaning towards. I'm just cheap and like to save money where I can, but rocker panel damage isn't cheap...

Finally got a picture of the new truck cap. It's a slightly different color, but it's hard to tell in the picture.

    :bananadead:

    Lookin' good, Gramps.

Now all you've got to do is line the bed with carpet and get one of those lower back cushions for the front seat and you'll be rollin' in style!
    :stirthepot:

This is true. Sliders seem like they'd be a big investment, but when you figure the cost of sliders vs the cost of replacing a rocker panel and having it color matched the sliders are a hell of a bargain
