The beautiful thing about most of these trails in CO is that they are in BLM land and you can pretty much camp anywhere. Read the regs for each NF before doing things like camping, building fires, shooting, etc. Some NFs are different and may not allow certain activities in certain areas.

I can check with my Wife but I'd be up to host the Twin Cone run on July 5th. I won't be running anything on Fathers Day, the trails are normally packed and ruins it for me.

Let me know what you think.

So nothing doing in November huh?

I'm talking with Miles from Toytec about stopping by their shop while I'm out that way. If possible we're going to set up a little meet and greet, but that will be up to the owners.

Also, I'm looking to do some wheeling while I'm in the area. Any recommendations, group runs, etc. would be appreciated. I'll be headed to Ft. Collins, but I'm coming up from Texas, so anywhere is game between here and there.

It's impossible to predict the weather, but... I've done several runs in past Novembers. It seems more likely to get some late season runs in early winter than it is to get early season runs in the spring.

Good point. Damn you guys for having all those outdoor activities. :pout:

I'm down for some snow runs though. My rig has never seen snow.

Fair enough. Once I figure out the exact dates I'll be in CO, I'll post up and see if we can set something up. I'm already planning on at least one run with Miles.

And judging by the amount of rain we've been getting, we might have a snowy winter.

I'm game, but I'll be bailing out at the end of the trip to visit my folks, so you'll be driving back by yourself most likely.

Abnormally dumping daily for the past almost two months. Plus hail, lighting and tornados lol

I haven't been able to go on a trail in a while due to all the mud.
