lol, scratches the clear coat. But I've had so many road trips already, that I need my front bumper and front half of my hood repainted. At least I have a memorable picture of the Taco's first snowboarding trip. hehe

What are spacers, I am about to turn 16 and im getting a tacoma, i really like the grey one shown here and i want to lift mine, but i do not know what spacers are, also because he has 3' spacers and a 3' lift does that mean its a 6' lift?

    Thanks

Spacers are basically rubber pucks you put between the body and the frame. It gives the look of a lift because it moves the body away from the ground and the tires, but it does not actually give any more ground clearance. The axles and other parts of the drivetrain and frame are still just as close to the ground. I personally hate body lifts as they look a little stupid because the frame sticks out of the bottom, and there is always huge gap between the frame and the body. I would suggest you save your money and buy a better/bigger lift from the get go. It might take a little longer to save up, but will preform and look way better. But that's just my 2cents.

I don't think he needs to save up any money.Turning 16 and getting a new Tacoma as a first vehicle.........highly doubt it's his money buying it.

Spacers are aluminum or steel "pucks" that go ontop of the shocks to lower the wheels, which lifts the truck. A body lift is the rubber spacers between body and frame.
