+2 AP Kit, No fiberglass and a small 35. Yea fit great.... Rubbed just as bad with 33s too but theres no point in dropping $7k+ on suspension if you're not going to run a larger tire. FJ Cruiser or 4Runners will fit a 35 better, still not great with a +2 kit, thats what those kits were designed for anyway since its way more complicated to LT the back of one than a leaf sprung Tacoma.

    What's a small 35, 35's are 35's??? :notsure:

I didn't know there was a difference between the ap kit and tc for the 2 in.

If I was 4wd and could do it all over again, I'd go defconbrix style with the 2in, that's just me though.

Couldn't find it on the keyboard or symbols, but I was able to just copy/paste from the web. Now I can see just how hot the tranny will get towing the 4000+ lb travel trailer up to the rim. (softball for you guys...hot tranny and rim...)

Get a tape measure out. 35x12.50 isn't the actual tire size. Tires generally run small. Toyo's are really close to true size tho.

I was just saying, they are all going to be within 1/4" or so... That wouldn't make me think that one is necessarily "smaller" than another... Though they are a little different.

Toyos run true to size, my BFGs with 35 PSI in a 315 were damn near 34" brand new. and they did all that damage to my truck

Its just not worth it, you spent all this money for an extra inch of wheel travel over a complete mid-travel kit and you truck is still going to rip itself apart if you really use it. All for what, a cool stance?

I've made my opinion known on "that truck" several times. There's a reason my truck looked the way it did on 35s and +2, thats cuz i beat the piss out of it.

but man, it did look badass.

I'm just saying, an extra 3" in track width isn't goring to restrict you from taking your truck down any trail. If you can make it with a 3.5" kit, you're not going to make it with a +2 kit. I'm 86" wide and not once have I had an issue making it down a trail that a stock with truck could go down. You gain an extra 3" in wheel travel over a +2 kit which is more valuable than anything when crawling, your truck is more reliable as your CV angles aren't as steep, and you properly stuff a 35 further outside the inner fender. Like I said the +2s are really intended for FJs and 4Runners.

I agree with you man. See my thought is if I was 4wd I'd do a little expo build, and the 2 over kit is my solution to spending 500 less to get tc stock length lowers and uppers haha.

And i like the look of a 2in kit on some trucks haha

Oh so do I! The only reason I went with it was MonkeyProofs truck. Still to this day my second favorite look on my truck aside from right now was +2, 35s, Dakars and plate bumpers.
