Hair Dryer or hot day of it sitting in sun, fishing line and WD-40 to get of residue. Did this on mine, flawless. Then I hit those spots with rubbing compound, then waxed the truck. Some might so overkill...

Heat up a little bit with a hair dryer, not strictly necessary but it does help. Alternatively just orient truck so badge is in direct sun for an hour or so in the summer.

Next, fishing line behind the badge. This goes easier on your hands if you make yourself some sort of handles for the line (dowel rods just fine). At least 35 lb test or the line will break frequently. I'd say 50 lb test actually.

Last, something to remove the remaining adhesive. Goo Gone is the typical recommendation and works well. DO NOT CONFUSE WITH GOOF OFF. You do NOT want Goof Off which will completely eat off and melt your finish (acetone based or something). You want "Goo Gone".

Alternatively 3M makes a "stripe off wheel" which is meant to be run on a drill and is for removing pin stripes and other such things. That's what I used and it was fast and easy, but the wheel is pricey compared to a bottle of goo gone and your muscles.

Yeah man. What everyone else is saying. It's easy. I did more research and time than it actually took to de badge the entire truck. Good luck.

since it's a '13 and glue is fresh, park it outside in the sun then use and old credit card to lift up each letter. they should come right off. i use 3m adhesive remover to clean up. I keep a can of this around for tar, bugs, etc.

goo gone works too just use soapy water to clean up afterwards.

I used a strand of gutted paracord (inner strand) and used it so slice through the adhesive tape, it works far better than fishing line and credit cards. It doesn't break, it doesn't dig into your fingers, and is something I already had in my garage. If you do it correctly, it doesn't leave much adhesive left behind. Then 30 seconds with Goo Gone on a Microfiber cloth and it was never there.
