    New member here looking for a good, cool weather camp spot to get out to. A friend recommended turkey creek which I've seen a couple others mention. Anyone have any other suggestions? Me and the lady like to do some hiking out from a base camp so turkey creek makes a lot sense because of its proximity to aravaipa but unfortunately no dogs allowed in the wilderness.
    Thanks in advance.

    The top spacer is to cure the taco lean our trucks have. Yes get the coils assembled already. It makes it allot easier. I dont know about the rock guards tho. Do you plan on doing a front steel bumper? If yes you want the heavier spring

    @snowtank
    Less than 4 hours from Phoenix would be nice so I can get out Friday night after work without dreading the Sunday drive back.

    So far I've gone out to Gila Box while it was still nice, decent primative roads that really tested the limits of my stock OR tires (first time Taking it off road since picking it up late 2014); did a memorial day tour of Northern Arizona: Vermillion cliffs off of house rock rd/lone pine and drove out to firepoint to camp on the edge of GC; and for my birthday last weekend, drove around Kaibab south of Williams - made it out to sycamore point but it was pretty slow going some a** destroyed the dirt road during the storm the previous night.

    I forget how to get out to Sycamore point. Been there several times. Worked at the boy scout camp for a couple of summers years ago and repelled/rock climbed in that area too.

    @Brian007Taco you head south from 40 outside of Williams through garland Meadows past Whitehorse Lake. Easy going until you get a couple miles east of the lake. Real scenic drive and plenty of spurs to camp at. Great spot for some higher elevation camping in Kaibab.
