Installed my father's present. 14 inch light bar to fit nicely between my pods.

 

It starts with my older brother that's a car dealer/wholesaler. He calls me up one day when I was in town and says he has a head unit that was left in a 911 he was driving at the time. The porsche belonged to a rapper from florida believe his name is Kolum. Anyways like many cars that are about to be sold or repo'd people take off all the mods they have added. Well this car was picked up while it was in the process of being put back to stock. Whoever was doing the work was lazy and didn't want to properly undo all the wire and just ripped the unit out dash like a savage. All the wires were ok except the antenna wire. For almost 2 years I just used my phone to listen to music but, one day I decided to take apart the unit to fix the antenna. Since the wire had broken off inside the unit I had to make an ugly hole in the side because the unit couldn't be taken completely apart. Even then there wasn't enough wire to splice them together. So I decided to solder but after the wires came apart 3 times I JB welded them together and BOOM radio works. May not look good but it works and thats good enough for me.

 

Yooo - So today, I grabbed a can of DupliColor 1G3 and decided to Color code my
Chrome Grill shroud and my emblem. Came out really good IMO because I left
the stock greige (gray beige) inserts so the emblem shows contrast -
I was pleasantly surprised by the color match its dead on, pix might show a little
different. Whole thing took about 1.5 hours. I( also used DupliColor Clear Coat.

ps - I have black housing headlights, they came with my car, I dont know the brand
although they look awesome again IMO =)

This weekend ill be plasti spray'n my emblems semi-gloss black,
popping in color coded door handles, side view mirrors and rear bumper.
Lamin-X Smoke fog light covers.
Also got a set of beadlocks and wrapping them up in
Michelin 265/70/16 P-MS/2s =)

I STILL WANT A HOOD W.SCOOP (LETS TRADE)
I wanted the Off Road suspension and locker,
and also the sport styling. Almost done

Today I made and installed these paracord handles. Similar to the ones someone was selling I just put hex nuts in them and tried to match them to the stock interior. This pattern also makes the handles more flexible

 

Painted the grill today.

Installed Firestone airbags yesterday.

 

How is the ride?

 

Bought a TRD License plate frame cover, TRD anti theft tire valve caps and TRD bolt screws for my License plate cover.

 

Ordered mine the other day should be coming in the mail with in the next few days.

 

It's good. Only slightly stiffer over large potholes. I had them installed in my Jeep and loved them. I can't wait to haul my camper.

 

Do the airbags give it and lift?
