    Yes sir
Hmm I guess you're probably fine with the stock UCA's then...? I mean, every tacoma seems to be a little different so maybe you've got some magic OEM UCA's?? :headbang:

Lol, well that would be awesome. I told them at the dealership that I was thinking of buying UCAs and the guy was totally surprised by the notion. He said there was no need and basically told me it would be a waste. I guess that just leaves more money for other mods :bananadance:

The guys at the dealership have no idea what they're talking about 99% of the time when it comes to aftermarket mods. At least from personal experience. My dealership forgets to put lug nuts on. And they wanted $1200 for a Revtek spacer lift. If you go 3" or higher then you will need new UCAs to keep your truck driving straight, the dealer only aligns to OEM specs, which on a lifted application has different needs number wise. But if your truck drives straight then good on ya! Use the money for other mods!

    Questions:
What OME shock/spring setup F&R would deliver a small amount of lift, about one inch or so? And maintain a factory stance/rake to my SR5 4x4 DCSB.

And am I correct in assuming a 265 tire would be the size limit? Or could I go taller?

    TIA

Question guys, did you of you installed or did not installed this -> Old Man Emu FK29 Driveline Carrier Bearing Drop Kit
I was wondering if this drop kit actually work and what the repercussions were if you did not install them, any help would do.

The shortest OME coil for the 2nd gen is the 883. Should be around 1.25" to 1.5" of lift I believe.

Thanks for your reply and the info.

And they can set me up with rear leaf pack that would equal that I'd guess?

Any info on the tire size question? I currently have the 16" steelies.

That probably more than I'd want in the rear, if the front is at 1.25-1.5". What's the option under my scinero, AAL?

    And again...tire size?

    Yes sir
If I remember correctly, biggest you'll be able to go without trimming or removing mud flaps is 265/75/R16.

    Thanks OZ.

I'd just like a little better/talker stance and a better ride.
Not gonna do a whole lot of rock crawling.

They might work or they might not be the right size. I recommend going to the hardware store taking one of he bolts in. Getting a new longer bolt and a handful of washers. Add washers till you get the least vibes.

After my Ome lift my rear is at about 2.25 inches (after one week, was 2.5) so I was thinking about getting shims to get better pinion angles. But I'm having a hard time finding a place to order a selection of shims. I can only find wheelers 3' shims but I would like to look at some options. Idea's?

Finally! The day has come! Tomorrow is install day for the lift and wheels/tires. How long do you think it will take? My buddy is an auto mechanic and we are going to do it in his shop with a lift, spring compressors/tools etc. Can it be done in one day?
