That guy? I think you're missing something.
I'm praising him for getting one. What I'm saying is if Tw wasn't available and nobody knew TRD was discontinuing it then some people would never have known. That's it.

Like I wrote earlier, this mod I took into account before I purchased my Taco. I've been a member here since 2012 before I even had a Tacoma so I'm well aware of what kind of mods are available and have a build plan in mine before I bought.

Same here, I purchased mine as soon as I made the choice to get another Tacoma. I knew exactly what I wanted to do to my new truck and have been slowly picking up a part here and a part there in preparation for my new 4x4s arrival in the next few months

This is a perfect example. Cause the kits are going like swift butter.

You know, I've noticed you like to get that last parting shot in and then tell everyone to move on. Maybe you should just say "let's move on"

That one was actually a joke. Notice I typed it the same exact way.

Nothing heated, just getting my message across as it was intended :)

Another supercharger has been depleted from inventory. Mine is getting installed now! Hope it is as good as I have been hearing (not expecting a sports car).

Mine is good. I didn't expect a GTO version of a Tacoma though :p.

The funny thing is all the S/C gives you is about the same power to weight ratio of a higher end V8 fullsized. That's about the performance people get out of it too. So...

Those numbers at at the wheel, not the crank. And they're adjusted to reflect the power output at sea level and a pre-determined humidity level.

The with the blower the 1 GF-RE only puts out ~300 HP to the crank. Toyota is notorius for losing at least 10% of the power in there powertrains (it takes energy to move the fluids, diff, driveshaft, etc.) I think his truck dyno'd well.

^ 60ish, like the lobster said. Your stock 236 HP probably doesn't even translate to 200 HP at the wheels.

If you want the Tacoma to feel like a full sized truck for power the S/C will please you. If you wanted a Camaro in the Tacoma's body you will be greatly disappointed.
