I've been surprised by the number of people who need this for dew or fog. The area I live in is a dry climate so I never get fogged but in winter I always have them iced up. Well if you do decide you would like them just let me know.

Right on, thank you for the order!

Read the OP, but aint nobody got time for the next few pages. This would save me some time and it isn't much more expensive than buying the parts to do it myself! From the pics it looks like you use an add-a-fuse for power; would you make one with a few feet of extra wire instead so I can run it to my aux fuse block under the hood?

Yep that would be easy enough, would just need you to let me know the wire length needed. Probably best to give me a length from the fuse panel behind the coin tray over to your aux fuse box and give yourself a foot or two of extra length for insurance.

Was wondering when someone would pop in here with that exact request!

Dew and fog is what I want the kit for, unless I go overnight in the mountains. I'm glad the interested is pretty much universal. It's a shame we have to wait to the 3rd gen to get heated mirrors.... as a option

I could see how dew and fog would be just as bad. Basically anything making it so you can't see out the mirrors is not a good thing. Yeah the 3rd gen looks to have some better creature comforts to it. I like the embossed tailgate but that front end has yet to grow on me.

    Hey,

Well official release is going to be around September. ETA will be a bit dependant on how long the list of committed people is at that point.

I expect to have install instructions up not this weekend but next. At that time I'll probably sell a few kits so people can install and review them. Were you hoping for sooner rather than later?

Oh then definitely put me on the list. It'll be hot and dry for another three months in Seattle so I'm not in a hurry (and i need to replenish my mod budget) If you want hi-res artsy fartsy product shots, let me know I used to be an advertising photographer.

    Oh right.

I'm interested, but will hold off making the commitment. I want to make sure my budget can handle it, but great job.

Sounds good man and I appreciate that you are holding off until you are sure. I'll be bringing in inventory based on the list of committed buyers so it's definitely good to know that the people on the list are sure.

If you are still interested once the mod bank recoups a bit just let me know

    Sounds good. Count me in

Left of steering wheel, 15min, green, 6 feet of wire would be great.
