Neighbor is right lol! Oh yeah? That's awesome there are members so close! I could use some help/advice every now and then lol. I work in IT and I'm not to skilled yet on working on trucks...Just pretty much changing oil and the basics. I'll have to post up a pic of my truck on here. Question, is that 636 in your username referring to a Kawi Ninja 636? If so my brother has one, I have a cbr 600.

I'm finally ready for my first Tacoma. I found a 2004 in Red Bank, NJ that I'm interested in, but I live 800 miles away... Anybody here willing to check it out? I could send you some money for your time.

    Hey kids,
Thought I'd pop in here and say "hi" instead of continuing to pollute the "park next to Tacos" thread with Tommyb08. It's been a long time since I lived in NJ, but I grew up in Bergen County, attended Stockton State/RSCNJ, and lived in/around Atlantic County for 10 years. Left NJ in '98, haven't been back for a real visit in 10+ years, heading that way next week! One of the things I'm really looking forward to is a meatball parm sub from 2 Brothers in Pomona.

Kinda funny... that I find myself caring less about curbing my "assholeness" as I get older, but nowadays folks just dismiss it as "eh, he's from NJ" -- like it's some faraway exotic place.

So... "yo" -- and keep an eye out next week. BRM AC w/ Bestop... coming into Cape May on the ferry, working my way up to Bergen Cty, and eventually out via the Water Gap -- safe bet I'll be the only one around w/ SD plates.

^^^ Brought over from other thread, because I'm a little anal that way.

I do miss those Pinelands roads. I've got most of a day to get from Pomona up to Bergen Cty next week... planning some long straight drives away from the GSP.

AC... what a fail. When I lived nearby was when the Taj had just gone in and Steve Wynn was coming to town and the State planning on redoing all the roads where the White Horse Pike came in to hide all the crack houses. Glad to see a multi-billion dollar infrastructure investment paying off...

lmao, I was thinking the same thing! Nice dude, I actually work in Cape May. I'll def keep an eye out for your SD plates.... Enjoy yourself bro!

Gotcha man, I just deleted that last post, didn't even think about that.

No doubt about that man....AC is dying slowly, lol I remember exactly when they did that. They knocked a lot of those crack houses down too and put up some nice complexes. Yeah our brilliant governor invested an assload of our state pension fund into the Revel, and go figure the damn place went bankrupt....smh :frusty::notsure: Good ole Christi....

Dying slowly, after 2 rounds of big fixes to stop it from dying slowly, going back to Gov Whitman no? And friends/family wonder why I will never, ever move back to NJ -- not that those are the only reasons... I've gotten used to living in a state w/ less than a million people.

I never cease to be amazed at all the abandoned roadside homes & businesses I see when I'm on that side of the river...

Ever since the Egyptian Restaurant & Custard Stand with Mini Golf closed, all of S. Jersey has gone to hell. ;)

I know right, I seriously feel the same way. If it were up to me I'd be in DE right now, but the wife wants to stay in NJ...Plus I have a little baby on the way, she will be here any day now! That's another reason she wanted to stay, she thinks the schools are really good here... she may be a little biased though as she is a teacher lol!

    Yeah it's pretty bad homer!
