    Glad to see someone bring this to market but honestly it's an old idea- I've been mountain biking since the '80s and have seen lots of variations on this theme, primarily on trucks with camper shells. It works with the old style shells that sit on top of the bedsides but would require some work to be compatible with the newer style that overhang the bed. Some of the best looking I've seen had Yakima or Thule bike racks mounted on them but I've also seen them with fork clamps and a section of wheel tray for the rear wheel with Yakima's ratchet strap on it. Yakima used to sell short wheel trays too, not sure if they still do.
