    I just cleaned mine up using the 3M restoration kit. It starts with 500 grit, then 800 and 3000 before using the buffer solution. Need a drill and about an hour of time, but mine now look brand new again!

    I had the same issue and polishing them stopped working eventually. I checked with toyota and they wanted $500 per lense! Rock Auto I got an entire housing with a bulb for about $35 each. Not OEM obviously, but the quality is still very good.

    I used the 3M kit on mine and then got clear bra put on the lenses. 2 years later they still look brand new.
