Found another pic... almost same angle but whatever... Well with this angle, you can see how flat the grill area is.. almost like it slightly dips back in... almost gives it that great white snout, BMW front end, where it dips in where the hood meets the bumper... Some of the newer Mazdas have that too, which I kinda like. Could be an illusion. I'm guess this is the V6 SR package, where the double cab would give you the fogs.

I think its the added depth of the grill/bumper that make it look long.

The look is definitely growing on me.

I remember when the pictures of the 2nd gen were first released, and at the time it was a "WTF is Toyota thinking" moment.

    Now look...

I'm excited to see it in the real world. Even more excited to see one lifted.

They have been growing on me.. A LOT..

that last pic tho.. that underbite.. making me second guess my feelings for them.

but.. im sure that will change when we see em in person.

Im still realistically playing with the idea of getting into one..

have a pro's and con's list written out. looking at all my options.

Dissent Offroad Bed Rack over a softopper

The first thing that comes to mind is Ziggy. It's unfortunate, if the grill weren't so big and didn't protrude out so much, this truck would look so much better.

X2 the giant plastic grill is the deal breaker looks misplaced on the rest of the body. Basically looks like a Gen2 with a fat plastic lip on front

I think seeing the 2 side by side like that almost makes the 05 look outdated.

This truck will come around, especially with the addition of aftermarket support and seeing it more and more, just wait.
