    Alright fellas, actually have the ambition to do something to this hog. Wanna start building my wiring harness for overhead switches. Luke said he'd draw up a little schematic so I have something to go by. Now, what kind of relays and such do I need? Would I be better to get a panel like skygear is making, or just doing something of my own?
    Plans are for the switches to run:
    Air compressor
    CB
    Rear lights on the rack
    Front of the rack bar
    Ditch lights
    Undecided

    Go with a relay with coil suppression, they're only a couple bucks more and you will protect the rest of the electronics in the truck. I wired mine up 4 years ago and haven't had a single problem with it, just make sure all your wiring is heat shrunk and crimped well. Figure out if you want any ignition switched devices or you want everything ran directly off the battery. Have a game plan ahead of time of how you want the lights and shit to be wired so you aren't redoing it 2 or 3 times. The skygear panel is nice but I built what I needed for a lot less than that, it's not as pimp mind you, but who the fuck looks at your fuse panel and judges ya besides TW members. I doubt some chick at the bar you're trying to bang could give two fucks about how your switch wiring is ran :D

    Lol I'll look into that! Honestly, I really like how Luke has his setup since it's open and can be seen how much time he spent on it. Kinda shows pride and I like that. I am ordering the rest of my switches and shit and will hopefully get these all done in a week or so

    Yeah and it's nice wiring it up yourself so then if something does go wrong you know exactly where to start and troubleshoot. Seems like most members on here would rather just buy a bolt on mod than DIY, custom is always moar funz :)
