    I hit level 3 twice today, and I'm somehow still currently level 2? Hrm. I guess that last batch of beacons I hacked on the way home musta had a bunch of turrets or some shit going on?

    I think I figured it out. I was looking at the blue bar on the main scan page, not the level AP bar on my profile. It turned out it was asking me to become a trusted agent.

    The up side, after eating I went out meandering around my new neighborhood. Found four unclaimed portals (1 level 2, 3 level 1s) and took them all, then modded them with shields and such.

    I already walk 4 miles a day on my lunch break, now I'm doing it at home in the evenings too. I think I'll get another pair of shoes this weekend...

    It'll help those people who don't get out often to get out. That's what they kind of had in mind with the game. If you have a good memory, you should try glyph hacking. Hold down on the hack button in the portal

    You only hack the OTHER teams' portals, right?

    It's a little wierd, there's not many opposing team portals around my house, but a TON up by my office.

    shit, I may have to start mapping this out to get the best route down...including both sides, I think I have well over a dozen good sized ones within my walking distance at home, and another half-dozen up at the office...

    The Ingress Intel map is either inaccurate or out of date. Only about 4 of the portals on my walk this evening are listed there, even though I have L1 -> L8 listed as showing.

    I'll see about checking this IITC thing you mentioned, thanks

    If they aren't captured yet, they won't be listed in the 1-8. You have to go down far enough to see them. Keep in mind your resonators die after a certain time too

    A week or so, IIRC?

    I figured that out when I capped an open one on Tuesday, and on Wednesday when I went by, I had the option to recharge the resonators. So I'm keeping a mental list of 'my' portals so I can make sure to hit them up at least a couple times a week to top them off

    You can use the keys you have in your inventory also. It'll give you points to remote charge. Keep in mind you lose the key you link to when you link. But linking and fielding nets you a lot of AP

    The more zoom in you are the more portals it shows.... example: if you zoom out 4-5 presses of the (-) button it will only show like L6 and up portals
