Full ome lift, nitro charger sports all 4 corners (rear shocks relocated), Dakar pack w/ AAL, 882 coils, diff drop, toytec 1" shackles, trail gear low profile front bumper, Tuff Stuff winch, bamf sliders, RAT skids, BAMF Bed Rack, Tepui Kukenam RTT, RAT rear bumper,
I'm confused about a leak. Figured I'd refill the front diff, since I was 100% sure that it was leaking, since I didn't seal it after cracking the turd open. I opened the fill hole and to my surprise oil came out in a steady stream... wtf? The bottom of the diff and backside are damp until the first bolt from the bottom, then bone dry as far as I can see up. Anyone have an ideas? Not coming from a/c, coolant looks to be fine, nothing leaking from oil filter. Also the truck has been sitting for about 4 days iirc.

Poking around I think I might see some wetness here, behind the engine... but not 100% convinced that's it.

I ripped my paper gasket a tiny bit putting the rear third member back into the axle housing. It's got a slooooow leak that sounds exactly as you're describing it. Damp/greasy from the bottom to the lowest bolt. I'll have about a drip every week. It had some other issues while I was out of town and my parents took it to a shop and they said it wasn't anything to be concerned about.

Thanks, may possibly it. Gonna mess around more tomorrow to see if I can determine any other source. Grrrr. It does pretty much always have a bead of fluid Ready to drip...

Full coverage installed. Gonna pull it off this weekend to really clean off the metal shavings and seal up the bare metal from drilling.

So I didn't take many pics at eagle lakes but had a great time. Will post what i have soon. Made it up a sweet obstacle called driveshaft hill... it was tough, and I wasn't driving well. Had great spotters though, so made it through. Thanks to nick @Mademan925 for capturing the last push on video.

*EDIT: just realized this trip must have been just about 2 years on the nose since I bought the truck. Cool beans.

Messin around with GIMP editor and changed the ol' sig pic.

As an aside... I think this build is pretty much done. Got the regear to do, blue sea box, and probably some minor things here and there, but other than that I think I will be saving up for something a little more... erm... older and... erm... with a straight axle.

Solid axle your truck! I want to do mine this winter just for fun. But I live in the Midwest where wheeling sucks so I don't know.
