The dual climate control is perfect. My Wife is always closing vents on her side because she is too cold. Me, I like icicles.

I love it, they took all the good things that are popular with the Gen 2 and added new features and styling. Finally a moonroof. Love the push button start. Still can't believe there is not power seats. But this is so much nicer than the Chevy Colorado and Canyon. I sat in both of them and are both made for smaller individuals that are even smaller than myself and so cheaply made. Not impressed with GM still.

Was parked next to a 2015 DCLB at a restaurant today. Pretty, but I still want the 2016.

They have had it. They just called it something else. I believe that it was the button with the truck with squiggly lines under it. The lsd or electronic traction control

That's not the same thing. (Though easily confused to their silly similar acronyms) 00-04 had it to change the transmission shift points to be more aggressive and hold the gears longer when accelerating. It was called electronic transmission control or something like that.

I think you're right. It's the same cab, with a new interior, but same dimensions. I would bet that it's largely the same frame with the same suspension mounts (confirmed I believe by some of the guys involved in the measuring session)

It's a facelift with a new engine... but it's not a new truck. An evolution, but not a revolution.

I would guess the ect button would lock it out of over drive as well....? That's what all cars I have driven do with a button that does something of that nature.

Will all models have the dual temperature zones? I don't want that.

doubtful.... if you want to lock it out of OD use the shifter. ECT button will likely do what the 1st gens did which was make the trans hold on to gears longer to reduce hunting around.

Bone stock other than new floor mats.
Agreed, I don't like the outside color match on the dash either but hopefully that's just the OR package. The push button is fine by me as it makes life a bit easier. Other than that, I like the new look and can't wait to see them in person. My truck is now 10 years old so this should be a nice upgrade. Although, price and specs are yet to be determine so I may be waiting a bit longer depending on those items. Thanks for the post!

The OR model Toyota debuted at the Detroit show back in Jan didn't have color coded dash accents.

Huh. Is that the first real photo of a black model since the camo'd prototype? Where was this taken?

Hmm. So, kinda confirmed that the TRD Sport can have a sunroof. Might be the first shot of the optional tonneau cover too.

Thanks for posting it! I look forward to seeing the black truck in person.

Have a feeling, but I bet that is a low entry package. You can probably get them painted, but in a package. Just wait for the trd pro and start with everything you need. No need to accessorize.....at least for a little while
