    Hi All,

I am new to this forum and am looking to buy a new tacoma. However, I am trying to keep it a little "cheaper" and do my own mods later. Does anyone know if they sell the Tacoma 4x4 V6 as a base without the convenience package? I know they have this for the 4 cylinder.

    Thanks guys!

Yes, they do make it. In fact, thats exactly what I have. I really dont have a need for the upgrades that the other packages have to offer, and so far I havnt found myself wishing it had any of it.

If you don't mind me asking where are you located and how much did you pay for it? I don't see any in Southern California. Not the market :/

I am located in Maryland. Out the door (taxes, registration fees, etc) it came to around $28k. It is a '15 and had 21 miles on it when I got it.

Yes I do, however I am using a computer at work. When I get home I'll post some. It might actually be worth flying out here, picking one up and driving it back. It will be a good break in drive and you get to see the country side as you do it.

No special prep. I just made sure they were clean and free of brake dust. I used Plasti Dip. You can get it in spray cans from Home Depot or Lowes. It goes on like spray paint, but it dries into a plastic type coating. It is more than strong enough to not chip or flake away under normal driving, but the cool thing is you can peel it right off if you no longer want it.
