It's a daily driver. I like how it rides now.
I do plan to wheel it some. Nothing a stock truck couldn't do though. We camp and tow stuff.

I did the same thing. I bought a revtex leveling kit. 3 inch front and 1.5 inch rear. I sucks!!! I replaced my front strut spacer and replaced it with a 2.5 inch OME lifting spring. The ride is amazing I also put a sway bar replacement bar that shifts to Allow factory alignment. That ride is great!

I am also running the ReadyLift 2.75" Fr and 2" rear kit on my recently purchased 2010 SR5. I am guilty of "doing before researching" also. Honestly though I don't find it as harsh as some are making it out to be. I will be going the 5100/leaf pack route in time when my OE shocks give out.

My truck is rarely off road though, I will add.

I put bilstien 5100 front back but left front setting at stock and got my loft in springs. It is perfect. Now I want to put on little bit larger tires going to 265/75/16 open countrys

I started with spacers up front and blocks for the rear and purchased on ebay. At the time money was tight and I just can't help myself. Switched up to full OME now and it's muuuuch better

    Yes sir
I guess I should now update; I replaced my spacers about a month ago for OME 887's along with new shocks all around and the ride is noticeably better. I also have a bit of piece of mind now while wheeling.

I started with a spacer lift from Low Range Off Road, never had any problems, but after reading about spacer lift issues I went with a complete OME system

Finally picked up my 99 xtra cab prerunner today after having OME 881's and Dakars installed. Man does it ride better. I can't stop coming up with reasons to drive somewhere in it

500 miles on a 2.5" spacer. Then, on to Billies------wishin I had just popped for some Kings. :annoyed: Learned another expensive lesson and I'm a wiser owl.
BTW, my spacers are in perfect shape and currently available------cheap, very cheap. And, they come complete with your very own "lesson learned," which can be a source of wisdom, as well as a pain the a##. That's three for one, right there: (1) spacer set, (2) a free lesson learned, AND (3) a pain in the a##.
The line forms to the right, or your PM will be cheerfully replied too.

Add me to the list :anonymous:

Installed 1.75" strut spacers and AAL in June. Finally swapped them out today for 5100s all around (kept the AAL).

I won't hate on the spacers because aside from not being able to get a proper alignment, I never had any issues. I will say the ride home from installing the 5100s was much smoother than the ride with the spacers.
