    270HP is fine. It all depends on how much torque is mated with it and what the mpg may look like.

    Trd supercharger on my 2015..

    And I gave up worries about mpg. If I want to save gas I drive the car.

    Yeah. This may sound like a very strange question but if the truck is lighter what's the point of more hp? Doesn't more hp and power require more gas? Sweers said it would not be able to tow any more than the previous Gen except for weight reduction. So if they don't care about towing more what's more hp going to do, or is it not true that more power means more fuel?

    Passed a Colorado today. God awful looking.
    Saw a canyon last week, it was better but still didn't look as decent as I thought it did online.

    Minus the grill the 2016 taco is a better looking truck imo

    I'd take a charged 2015 I think. I try very hard to give the redesign a chance but the lights grille and valence don't make sense to me.

    More power generally means more fuel. But only when you use the power.

    The tech on the new engine plus the wieght savings is going to help fuel economy. Drive it like as ass and im positive it will be capable of the same horrible mpg.

    And while my 2008, 2012, 2013 and now 2015 have all been capable of towing. The extra power makes it happier.

    I towed with a supercharged 2004 and it was heaps better than the n/a 2004.. mpg about the same given the same speed and weight but the truck was happier.

    I can't wait to install my supercharger on my 2015!!

    I agree. Thats why I went with my 2015. And now I am anxiously awaiting getting my supercharger on!

    Empty im sure the new tacoma will be better on mpg but towing I bet it will not beat it at all.

    I'm still confused on how they only managed 270 HP, same D4S technology managed to get 100 HP/L on the FRS/BRZ 2.0 I4

    I would guarantee its because of the nature of the power. They chose to go for a truck, workable power. The frs is a sporty power. To get both would be a miracle and you sure as hell wouldn't want a sporty type of power in a working type vehicle if that makes any sense..
