For instance, small but still, slammed the microwave door a little to hard, vent piece on top falls off...1 out of 8 tabs is still intact and barely held together with glue, the rest are a mystery.

First world problems, I know, but still, I keep finding shit like thst all over the house. Just POS landlord fixes all over

 

Mine was a flip from foreclosure auction. Looked great on the tour. Not as nice when we opened the door for the first time with our own key.

Oh well. First house, can't complain. I'm blessed to be there.

 

Yea. Same here. First house, I've learned my lessons. Maybe in a decade or two i'll rent this place out and get a nicer house

 

It also didn't help that our Real estate agent was worthless. The first house we looked at had an EPA hit on it for something and she said it was nothing. Should have dumped her then, turns out it's a potentially contaminated lot, will take alot of money to have the EPA clear that up.

Found this house, put in an offer, asked her to ask the owner to fix a bunch of stuff, she got nothing in writing and he "agreed to it" to sell and then didn't do it. He stopped by after I moved in to let me know that GFCI bullshit wasn't needed in our bathrooms, even though it's code now....he didn't have it growing up, so I don't need it. Wow, thanks.

 

No... It's the way the house was built. he put the fireplace in like 2004. Afterthought when wrong... Possible Fire hazard now know matter what you put in..

 

Basically have to tear the house down to make fire place right

I have a brand new 265/75/16 good year athority on a spare rim. Its the same width and cercumfrence as a 265/70/17.

I generally go to cars and coffee in Blackhawk, but I saw zero tacomas at the last one other than my own. My baby, I mean Truck, is still stock so it wouldn't feel right to start my own. But I am down if other people are. And thanks for the info.

Yea, agreed, I mean, my whole family is hear and my in laws, if I thought I could live somewhere else and make the same money, I would. In my industry, I'm in the best state to be working. Oil workers in the rest of the country have some of the worst Safety issues there are. Cal Osha might be a bitch, but damn do they keep my ass safe for the most part

 

I mean, let's be honest here, we can all sit around the fire and bitch and moan about CA, but at the end of the day, who's really gonna uproot their family to leave and hope everything works out in another state.
