    Hi Dustin,

I'm looking to buy some BFD's for my Tacoma in the next week or so in titanium silver. That being said, this is the first I've seen of this custom super metallize do finish. What's the up charge for that?

Hi. Thank you for your interest in the BFDs. :)

We've had this finish available for a while, but it is a "custom" finish that is only made to order. It takes about 7-14 days for us to have the wheels finished to order for you. The cost is an additional $120 per wheel, so it's not particularly inexpensive, but it does look really, really sweet. The finish is not chrome, so it's actually pretty easy to maintain and it holds up very well.

    Thanks!

Good to hear from you again Britt! Your truck looks sweet. I don't believe we've seen a Barcelona Red Tacoma with graphite BFDs before. The color combination is perfect.

    Dustin,

Thank you for the reply. I like the metallic finish but don't know that I can justify the cost. Do you happen to have any photos of BFD's on Blue Ribbon in titanium metallic?

Also are there any promotions going on now? Would love a quote on a set of titanium silver shipped to 49127.

    Thanks!

I agree. The special finishes are really nice, but being custom, made to order finishes they are a little pricey. Fortunately we have a lot of standard finishes to choose from at no additional charge.

I'll send you a PM to discuss the titanium silver wheels or other options.

I have photos of some of our other wheels on Speedway Blue, but I can't seem to find any photos of BFDs on Speedway. Speedway must have been a fairly rare color.

Bronze on Super White is a sweet color combination.

Thanks! Yes, all of the prices are up to date (manufacturing costs have gone up a little since the post on the first page, but we have kept the pricing the same).

 Uh oh, you got me Steve...My wife keeps asking me the same thing (when will the trucks be done). I've got an FJ and a Tundra in the works right now, but things have been so busy that the trucks aren't where I'd like to them to be yet. Also been working on a 4Runner project for my brother, and if I get these done soon we plan to do a 2016 Tacoma once they come out. I need to post some photos and details for everyone. I wish I was as diligent as some of you guys about keeping a build thread / blog!

Glad to hear the wheels are still bringing your compliments, but they're only a small part of your awesome truck. Your truck's cool factor goes way beyond just a set of wheels. :)

So I've been creeping this thread and I'm falling in love with the look of these wheels on the Tacos, so many beautiful trucks you guys have been posting up.

This is my Taco, it's the Limited with 3inch lift, spacers up front and AAL's out back, it really needs some beefier tires.
The wife gave me the green light to buy some bigger tires but she doesn't know I'm going to sneak in a set of wheels too. Better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission, right? ;)

I was looking to get the BFG KO2's but then I saw this beauty in a previous post on here

So I'm just really torn here with all the options and which way I want to go since my truck is all chromed out
    Gunmetal or Silver BFD?

285-65x18's seems to be the popular choice for these wheels on here.
    KO2's or Trail Grapplers?

    Opinions please

I'm partial to the GMG, but you could always get a different coating. Scroll back up and you'll see some of the other coatings that have been applied.

Sorry for the slow reply! Haven't been on the forum in a while, it tends to want to make me spend money
Suspension is Icon Stage 5 with Dakar leafs. It's still a work in progress. Rear shocks can't keep up with the Dakars, so I've got some adjustments to make there.

The front shocks are REALLY getting to me. A lot of squeaking. I'm hoping it was just an installation problem.
Nice! That's a good combo. I work up on Charlotte St if you ever want to cone check our FN's superior craftsmanship before you buy!

275/65/18 will fit better... The white one with bronze is rocking the same size as mine. I have 3" iShock midtravel coilovers up front and 1" block and firestone riderites with daystar cradles on the rear. I still scrub sometimes in turns even without front flaps and trimmed flares. Going mud terrain and 285 you need to trim more and do cab mount chop even with 3"

    Great looking truck!

I had already ordered my tires on Monday from discount tire direct. I went with the 285/65, Dustin mentioned I would probably have to do a mount chop. I'll have to research what exactly that includes. As far as trimming the liners, I'm not too worried about.

Tires should be here next week and fed ex says the 7th for my my wheels to get here, can't wait to get them on. What are you guys doing about tire pressure sensors? are you just swapping over from your stockers? Any recommendations on brands or types?

Thanks, and as was mentioned, just swap the factory sensors and you will be good. I still need to do cab mount chop because in turns while going up or down my tire hits the cab mount and it throws the traction control on and freaks out the truck. It has even happened while towing my boat on windy roads.

Wheels finally came in today and I couldn't wait to get them on. She came out even sexier than I expected. I was rubbing on the little flap up front and the splash guards so I took them off. No cab mount rub so far but that could change under some compression, i'll keep an eye out for it.
