Yep. I like it here. There's something to complain about everywhere.

I can honestly say the only thing I don't like about where I live is the tourists. At least they are seasonal and mostly stay in South Lake.
The snow could be better from year to year...it's not a dislike, just room for improvement.

I remember a steak house somewhere around Colfax off of I80 being called Dingus McGees... Any correlation Dingus?

Sadly the Dingus McGees you refer to is no longer. Some of the building is still there, but has been used for local Firefighter training over the years. I enjoyed eating there at least once a month. My In laws live in Colfax. The next best option as you drive towards Tahoe is the Monte Vista in Dutch Flat. I have have not been there in quite a while. Very log cabin/home style place. The food was much better than Dingus IMHO. I hope this helps.

BTW, my Pops called me Dingus. Long before the restaurant.

No tickets. Emptied the first tank of gas, so decided it's been long enough stock. Window tint, line-x, nfab nerf bars...and this shit below is all done:

You tint your fronts? I hate how my tacoma has no polarization or anything on the front windows. I feel like I'm constantly roasting. I have no idea how dark I can get away with though.

Also not sure if I want to strip the rears and retint to match the fronts. Shop in Belmont wants $100 for the fronts and $225 for the rears, might be worth it to keep the cabin a bit cooler.

Yessir. Factory rear and side rear glass is all privacy glass. I'm kinda OCD (no smart ass comments here from the peanut gallery) so the front side windows have to match to stop the twitching and tourette's. Fortunately the laws in NV are more relaxed than when I was in CA. I matched the front windows with the rest at 20% like I did with my Tacoma. Cost me a whopping $70 to tint the front two side windows.

For the record, I always ran 20% in my Tacoma, even when I was in the bay area. I got pulled over one time and got a fix-it ticket in that time (along with 3 other fix-it tickets...all at the same time).

Good to know that matches up well. Did it make the cabin considerably darker? My jeep (don't murder me please!) came with some pretty tinted windows when I bought it from the PO and it ALWAYS feels dark when I have the windows rolled up. I like getting some protection from the sun but there are limits.
