    Window tint has come a long way since the 90's. You can get a completely clear polarized tint with 85% reduction in UV rays.
    I do the tint for the obvious sun reduction...but also aesthetics. Owner's decision. NV allows for up to 35% tint on the side windows vs CA which...well depending on the LEO can give you a ticket for 95%.

    Trust me my OCD goes wild and I twitch a little when I see the difference in tinting. My old truck it didn't bother me much because it was an ext cab but with a double cab it's painfully obvious. From my buddies who are car guys they say you can get away pretty dark usually as long as you don't do something to piss off a LEO. I know that's how it goes a lot with offroad mods too usually.

    I really like the Stormtrooper look as well! Wife hates white trucks though, despite everything I've defended with, so my second choice was Mag Grey, and i just so happened to have picked up a Mag grey camper shell on the super cheap, so that's my new trucks color!
