When did they start deciding an error also gained a hit for the opposing team? I always thought it was either a hit or an error?

 

I'm going to sound like a complete homer, but I think it's crazy how little press the Rangers turnaround has gotten. They were 7-14 in April. 19-11 for May. 10-5 so far for June. Tons of injuries, including to our ace. I have watched more baseball in the last two months than in the 2 years combined. Awesome.

 

I think it was an hit because of the bad hop and and error on the throw to 1st

 

But this doesn't make sense for one of the Giants hits when the Mariners had an error? I need to go back and look at that part again, but I know it happened twice. A lot of people were confused.

Edit: It appears they fixed the box score at the end of the night. It showed 5 hits for the Giants going into the 9th, when it should have only been 4, with Cano's error in the 7th.

Yeah, they really pulled a u-turn. That's why I'm glad my Astros figured out the whole winning thing again, our margin of error is much smaller with the type of ball the Rangers are turning in lately.

Not at all. Stating a fact.
Love him or hate him, A-Rod has joined an exclusive club among MLB players. Only the 3rd player to homer on his 3K hit.

 

I shouldn't jump on you, my apologies. I just believe he shouldn't be playing this sport anymore. 2 positive tests in his career. Should be gone. Shouldn't have been given the opportunity to reach 3000 hits. My opinion obviously. I would dare say, at minimum, 300-500 of those are PED hits. Figuring in how many years he admitted to, I believe 01-03 & 10-12, and add in the years they couldn't prove...... Oh well, such is life. Off the soapbox.

 

Wade Boggs,Derek Jeter,Alex Rodriguez.Ya let it go with the whole A-Rod thing.Never cared for him as a player so none of his stats or PED,steroids use phase me at all.He'll get his credit and no credit for his MLB career.Hall of fame?Could care less but it probably happen someday.
