More than one thing to consider here...first, the frame recall letter and the present condition of your truck frame (take a dang pic or three, come on)....

#2 I was hoping to avoid processing the claim through my policy due to me being 0% at fault.

As others have said, you are paying for insurance, get a copy of the police report, reference any ticket issued to the other driver and let them deal with it...

What was the assessment on the frame damage? Are there any estimates you possess to reference the cost of repair?

If the damage is limited to behind the rear leaf spring perch it would/should be a fairly EZ repair for a frame shop and should not affect the future operation of the vehicle, given the low miles and how hard it will be to find a duplicate replacement repairing might be the way to go...

Again, pics would be nice....everyone here has no idea except for you as to the actual extent of the damage...

Call your insurance company anyhow. If the other person is found to be at fault it won't impact your insurance AT ALL. Instead, your insurance company will go after them to pay for repair costs, etc. Plus, your insurance company has lawyers. They'll get what you/they want more easily than you getting what you want from them on your own.

That being said - I cannot imagine Toyota warrantying anything on a frame that's been damaged due to an accident. Why would they? Even if it would have needed warranty replacement it's now destroyed/damaged due to a collision. Would need replaced due to that alone.

Although you have rust on the frame, it doesn't look that bad, so that more than likely takes the recall out of the question for now...as far as the bent frame, it appears pinched just behind where the rear bumper support is bolted on....get the frame professionally straightened, clean up the frame and seal paint it, move on...
