I'm running the BC15 or BC 23A can't remember. Sounds much much better the built in one

 

Do you recall how the camp light on the bumper is powered? I'm guessing it comes from the same line the powers the backup light relay, but wasn't sure. Is that last bit to the camp light fused?

Yeah, won't turn on. Worked fine last time I used it.

I've looked I don't see a fuse in that last bit. Of course, the main power from the front is fused but the trouble lies elsewhere. It looks to me like you got power for that light from the main source I ran back there from the fuse block.

The tail lights, the backup lights and the license plate lights are working.

 

Must be from the fuse block then..or the switch died.

Or the main wire you ran back there. I actually think you ran that wire cause I don't remember doing that.

 

I did run that wire. And I think you misssunderstood what I said. Power is fine to back there. You go power from that line I ran. You powered the backup light relay and also the license plate lights from that power.

Naw, if there is no hidden fuse just for that camp light, then its either the switch (my bet is here) or it's the light itself (seems unlikely).

Yea Id bet the switch is bad. Volt meter will tell you this easily.

 

Oh and it's not fused because it's off the same fuse as all the others. Not really needed.

Geez, Spend $2K on a bumper and defeated by a $2 switch.

That isn't the point. Would have been so simple if it was a blown fuse.

That's a good radio. That is what all of us run.

I knew going in about how much it would cost me to do this. So that was not a big surprise. Then when it was finished and I saw the look on your face when it was on the truck, I knew it was the right move.

Well, cost about 1400 and the rest was driving from Washington to Wyoming and hotel I'm sure. Lot of gas man haha
