I decided on 265/75/16 ko2s on MB TKO's. I really had a hard time on the tires. I wanted to go bigger but don't want to get into chopping. I think it's gonna look sweet though

I've got vibration in steering wheel from 40ish to 60ish. Would this help? More info or a link? I'll start searching but just in case:confused:

Cb? I would do alignment first. Then ecgs bushing. Then start measuring driveline angles to see what needs correction. Most likely you will just need to do what Jakob had said in his previous post about adding washers until it goes away.

Hey guys real quick, were installing now and which direction does the bottom of the spring face on the perch, towards the inside of the truck or outside?

Thanks guys. I bought the truck second hand with the lift on it. Bought not built, I know, but I'm changing some stuff slowly but surely. It has 885x plus top plate, aal, and dsm uca's. Sway-bar is removed. New wheels and tires recently so I knew it wasn't a balancing issue. I will try the alignment first then research on the other options.

I don't know if I worded it correctly, the bottom of the coil. When its sitting on the perch does the end of the coil point towards inside or outside of truck?

Ya not too into the chopping either. I'll trim a bit but I want to be able to stuff em in the fenders when its flexing time. Nice wheel choice by the way. It's gonna look slick. Can't wait to see pics when you're done.

Here ya go boys and girls..
I must have gotten the wrong kit or something because it only took us 3.5 hours to install the whole OME kit, switch out my TPMS into the new wheels , put on the new tires, buid the coils on his spring compressor and put new valve stems into the old wheels/tires to use as back ups. Thats including a lunch break. Everything slipped in and out reasy easy. No prying on anything. No rusted nuts. Even the front coils went in without having to pry on anything or easy get close to break lines/data lines. I am shocked at how easy it was. I guess having an auto mechanic as a good friend and doing it in the garage he works at helped. All for an 18 pack of beer. We threw in the carrier bearing drop kit and to be honest I don't seem to have any vibrations at all. It's not even that stiff either. Hitting bumps in the road felt almost like the stock suspension!
My only problem is with my new wheels having -6 offset and 265/75/16's I get pretty bad rubbing on the mud flaps even at half steer. 884's.
I didn't get a chance to measure the lift before the bigger tires went on or from center of tire but with lift and tires combined I got about 5.5" in the rear and 4.5" in the front before settling. Only going up from 245/75 to 265/75 that seems like alot of lift lol..

    Before
    After

What did you put up front & what did you get?
    OME 884's with 90021's and trim packer .. 3+ inches o_O
What did you put in back & what did you get?
OME Dakars with 60091's got me 4+ inches o_O
Are you running trail armor & how much lift did you loose or what did you do to regain/maintain lift?
    No
Tire & wheel specs & rub or what you did to eliminate rub.
265/75/16 KO2's on 16" MB TKO's -6 offset causing major mudflap rub. Will remove soon
Are you still running a sway bar?
Yes, may remove it at some point

So according to the tire calculator the new wheels are only 1.18" bigger giving me around 1/2 to 5/8" of lift. So subtracting that from my total lift height I got like 4 7/8 in the rear and 3 7/8 in the front. Thats way more than I was expecting. I'm not complaining though I like it. Anybody as surpised as me?

    Thanks!
Yeah I blacked out all emblems, the grill surround, and the rack on the cap got black bedliner.

My lift was a clean 3 inches day of lift. Now one week later the front has settled to 2" of lift and the back has came down 1/4". If your haveing rubbing issues your alignment should help pull the wheels forward.

How far down did the carrier bearing drop drop it? And no shims?

I forgot to measure it. From what I remember it looked like 1/4" to maybe 3/8". My buddy put it in while I was finishing the rear. I can measure tomorrow as it is pouring out right now

Looks great. I'm surprised by those numbers you're reporting. You measuring hub to fender? Also I'm interested to hear how the wheels sit after an alignment. I'm putting on wheels with same offset.
