    in the first 3 pics not really - they were all across the river maybe 60 to 90 yards away. the last one was this morning - he was trying to take a little nap next to the road but these human things kept interrupting. and pretty sure number 2 and 4 are the same moose, can't be certain as i never actually saw him standing Saturday (when I first saw the 3 together).

    WHAT?!? They do what I tell them - after they crossed the river he started to walk up the hill towards me and I told him that he and his buddy needed to stay down there. He looked over his shoulder at the other bull, back at me and then started to walk to his left and didn't come up the hill.

    I'm happy too. Last year that area got really flooded out and I only saw one cow in there all summer. I thought for sure that they had left permanently and possibly to (unprotected) forest service land. I didn't think they'd survive hunting season since they're so used to people just looking at them.
    Caused a massive moose jam too - started with just me and then another couple showed up and before I knew it we had about 20 cars and 40 people milling around watching them Saturday afternoon :laugh: Even the wildlife safari guides were impressed with my moose spotting skills :cool:

    Missed out on a couple of better ones but the baby was only up for a couple of minutes. When he laid down in the grass he completely disappeared! Mom was there too keeping an eye on him. I didn't stay too long, they had a nice secluded spot and I didn't want to chase them out.
