What is going on TW! Been sitting back in the shadows and reading on here for awhile, so much great info on here! Look forward to sharing some adventures and meeting some new people! enough small talk. I have a 06 Tacoma TRD Off Road 6 Speed AC. Have a lot of plans for her. As for now just got it running very well maintenance wise. Put redline fluids in front and rear diff, transfer case, and transmission, greased up all the zerks, puled the secondary air filter, added some tint, got a great deal on a Leer 100XQ, put a new head unit, 8"sub and red led's in the reading and dome light (have to be tactical :))

Next year I am planning on a pretty long road trip about 2-3 mo across the 48 states a lot of road travel and want o hit as many trails/scenic camping as I can, so planning on redoing suspension, wheels tires, dual battery set up, roof racks, possibly a longer range fuel tank and planning on picking on a m101a2 soon here and convert it to a basecamp trailer

Thanks Im really excited Any suggestions on detour or other scenic routes are always welcome

Oh ya have to hit up vegas, any good trails out there? I do internet marketing for a living so as long as I can connect to the internet I can work, so I try to work hard and play a lot harder, sometimes combine the two and go on a little adventure. If theres a will theres a way!

Looks awesome! You need to add more of the Ozark Mountains to that trip. Good job on avoiding Kansas... Nothing to see there.

That would partly depend on the time of year, but the Buffalo River area in Northern Arkansas is beautiful and full of things to do. If you catch it in spring with good water levels a float trip is a must.

went on a 15 hr trip up north to Rothbury, MI to enjoy some great music with great people for 4 days and enjoy the beautiful west side of the EST time zone. It didnt get dark til 11 every night and the sunrises and sunsets were absolutely beautiful

Little video of the sunrise we saw driving home. It was very inspiring considering we (edit: I( :squint: ended our 20 hour drive with this sunrise.

The truck performed really well for our first long trip. Next thing on the list is a dual or triple battery setup 100% it was horrible waking up in the morning and the battery being dead on day 2, had to get a jump and let it charge for awhile.

    Beautiful Picture.

So after a few trips, I am feeling like my next mods need to add a dual battery setup, waking up to an empty battery was not fun luckily we were able to get a jumo and start on some suspension. Bottoming out driving on the beaches makes me cringe every time. I also took the sidesteps off to get a bit more clearance, it looks a lot cleaner IMO.

Ive searched awhile for what people are saying about batteries, please correct me if im mis informed, seems like yellow tops are no good anymore, odesseys require too high of a voltage to stay charged, that kind of leaves northstar or a blue top. Any 2 cents would be greatly appreciated.

Seems like a single DieHard 31M from Sears seems to be a good option
