FINALLY!! ..after 14 years of wanting a Tacoma since high school back in '02, i got one on JUNE 17, 2014! only downfall, she isn't the TRD off-road i was hoping, buuuut it's all good! a 2010 Tacoma in magnetic gray metallic, 4x4, v6, access cab AND manual transmission w/ only 23,xxx miles on her! and in hella good condition for it being 5 1/2 yrs old. now comes the hard part... what to do to her. i did the most basic of the basic, badges dip'd, window decals, cleaned up little flaws here and there from previous owner. but I need to know what I need to start saving dough for. what do you guys think? wheels and tires? upgraded sound? tonneau cover? exhaust? ..i know for a fact that the stock headlights gotta go tho.. what brand headlights would you guys suggest for a stock setup with the housing blacked out? let me know! and I'll most likely get DDM Tuning HIDs for the headlights/fog lights.. other than that, I'm thinkin about dip'n my grille surround, rear bumper and rims.. whatdya think?! your ideas would be greatly appreciated! peace!

I'd have to agree, for stock, they look pretty clean. but i don't even know what makes em better than other stock wheels where you'd say that I "lucked out".. haha. care to elaborate?

Out of the 3 stock wheels offered, which would you prefer? You actually got the best looking ones!

They look better with a meaty tire than the 17" TRD sport wheels.

    Yeah.
Congrats, that is a great find! I am not a big fan of dipped rims. They may look good initially, but over time they start looking pretty trashy. But, I guess you could try it and peel it off if you don't like it.

First thing I would do is ditch the Dunlops. And then Crutchfield for upgraded sound.

Great lookin' ride, nice taste in color and access cab :)

I just dipped my wheels, same as your wheels. 5 light coats black (3 cans) and 3 coats graphite metalizer (1 can) I like how they turned out. If you dont like it, it can be peeled off.
