    Morning, all! Happy Monday :pccoffee:

    Good luck w/the interview, Alex.

Went to a birthday party for one of my honorary nephews yesterday and got to talking with his father about his grandfather who recently died. Turns out the grandfather had a demolition business some years ago and they had a couple thousand clay bricks that they were working on getting cleaned out from behind the grandfather's house and asked me if I wanted any. I realized that it had been a while since I tried to flatten my leaves, so I loaded up about 300-350 of them (while the GF watched ), pumped some extra air into the back tires, and drove two hours home (including an hour at 75 on the highway, lol) touching the bumpstops with every pothole.

But, when I unloaded them, the suspension settled right back to where it was before. :notsure: (the apparent ass sag in this shot is due to the slope of the land)

Still can't wait until the local dealership gets those recall springs into stock, though. Knowing that they've had problems with leaves snapping always makes me nervous when I load her up in good shape, enough that I've been using the '84 for any heavy loads this spring, even the ones that are a good hour away.

    Good luck with your interview!

I can't imagine what life is going to be like with 2 little ones. I have a feeling that, after August, I won't be posting here very often...

I know right. I have no time as it is, can't imagine basically doubling the responsibility/ commitment requirements beyond current levels.

That's pretty cool! Nice when you get a thank you bonus when you leave a job. Good to see places that appreciate their employees.

Just saw a jacked up 3/4 ton hauling a tandem axle trailer on 84W.

Truck and trailer were for Amsoil.

Wait I think that might have been Dave.... Dave stole the Amsoil truck!!

I can confidently say that he is the greatest boss I've worked for. Very generous (cash overtime for holidays that corporate doesn't pay), very helpful and accommodating, and very fair. He was strict, but as long as you got your stuff done, he was cool! I'll honestly miss working for him.
