Supercharger FPR mod?

    That's high for a stock pulley. I can't wrap my head around how you think your truck is slower. You're either not making power, had too high of expectations, or have some serious drivetrain loss somewhere.

    I almost feel as if that dyno run was done incorrectly. Back in my hey day of modding, all of the LSx dyno pulls I saw was in the tallest gear prior to drive and was pulled all the way to redline. It sounds like you are not reaching the full redline on yours. All that shifting also is capable of skewing readings.

    Could always try starting in 4th gear at 3k RPMs, if you go in for an added mod follow-up.

    Usually from a tuners capability they are able to lock the gear in place via software and at that point they are able to pull the engine through it's RPM capability. I don't know if our trucks software are capable of doing this, however, but for GM and Ford it's a possibility via HPtuners.

    As opposed to an SSD drive? Hard disk drives are still relevant in todays computers though slowly phasing out they still hve their rightful place in the PC world. I have heard that Toyota's ECU's are very difficult to hack into as well which kind of sucks, but in the same respect they do it for multiple reasons so I get it, but still... it does suck. Haha. The dyno did appear fairly old I agree.

    Right, but he said the dyno was old, if its as old as he is stating it is, and given the constant shifting it is highly likely those numbers are incorrect.

    Oh hell. I havent seen those since the inception if modern computers. Those are almost as archaic as CD burners hahahaha. If it was me, I would take it elsewhere and have it tested at a much more updated dyno and a computer that can actually keep up without crashing every 5 minutes due to floppy disk errors. :D

    Yeah a shop that tries to cool you skid plate instead of your radiator and the LTR obviously doesn't know what they are doing.

    Give it up man. You know you don't want to part with this truck its too badass to do away with it. Even in stock form they are damn durable and it takes a lot to make them self implode vs. A Chevy or Ford.

    For reals though, so we established that until you hit 9+ boost, you shouldn't need the FPR mod? So with the 2.85 pulley I should he fine?

    Me to, but I'd rather have a digital readout of wideband that I can glance at than trying to read a small gauge under speed. Analog boost gauge though, -30/+15 so I can actually see it move lol

    Well you could have an analog boost and another digital oil/afr guage digital. Or just an analog on the dual guage steering wheel bolt on pod. I hate those sill pods. So rice.

    Yea I picked up the craven speed steering wheel flex pod. All the a pillar pods look like shit to me. I'll stick with the two pods for now until I start moving up into even more boost

    I have no desire to go past 9 and 10 psi honestly. As long as I am able to scoot in desert and sand type terrain and it can handle all my armor with ease on the highway on inclines I am happy. The pulley is the only tweak I will do to it.

    Ahhhh.....I was wondering about the location. Well, if it ever comes up again, FSR Motorsports is the place to go. They already have dyno'd Toon714 's old truck. So it fits. Juice is worth the squeeze.
