All waxed and looking clean! Whole project took about 3 hours. I know its hard to tell much from the pics, its silver so it always looks good, hides everything even when dirty. I was nervous to try claying as i am ocd about scratching paint etc. I am glad i tried it, i never felt like i was doing any harm. You can clearly feel when more lube is needed( no smartass comments!) And the clay is easy to kneed/keep clean. Highly recommended.

oh yeah i think you told me once that your closeby:spy: thats my neighbors first gen. I used " LA's totally awesome cleaner" on the rims, and meguiars tire foam on the rubber. The awesome cleaner is great. The brake dust melts right off, and it whitens up the letters nice.

    Yea,
That's not going to work for us Cali folks as we're in a drought. But I see your point.

Yes it does, and I always re seal it every time I use the clay. Sorry about not including that.
When I give it a quick wash with just water and the 1 bucket for rinsing the mit, I don't use the clay.

I clayed my 2014 today. Amazed by the result, especially on the windows. I left the truck wet after the wash and also used the detail spray. Used much less spray than I would have otherwise used if i had dried the truck. It worked just fine. It made it super easy to rinse off the residue, as it was wet enough so the gunk didn't dry on the truck. I just hosed it off then did a quick second wash before applying meguires synthetic sealant 2.0 #21. Went on easy and wiped off easy too. Did it by hand. Gonna put another coat on it tomorrow and follow it up with Collinite on Monday.

303 is the shit. There's only one place up here in the great white north that has it for sale that I've found.

I clay bar'd mine last weekend, (meguires clay kit) sorry no pics, it rained shortly afterwards. I was amazed at how much grime the clay got off, and made all the panels silky smooth. I hit it with meguires quick wax after and turned out really good. I need to do a good sealant before winter though. someone said they clay their glass? I never thought of doing the glass, might give it a whirl this weekend, have a half a bar leftover, use it before it dries up.

I was skeptical with a white truck but it does look better after the clay bar. I intended just to do one fender but after seeing how easy it was I decided to do the whole truck. I clayed barred & waxed the hood on my daughter's Liberty just so I could show her what it could look like. Next day she went and stuck it in the mud. I also plastic dipped my badges. I cleaned them with alcohol so I am not sure if there was some residual dirt but I had some peeling inside the letters on 2 out of 3.

How long does it usually take to do a full detail? Clay bar, polish and wax? I'll have to have a look for that 303 stuff... seems like a lot of you guys recommend it.
