    hey guys i wanna replace my brake rotors but i'm not quite sure how or procedure any help would be gladly appreciated:confused::confused:

    worn out has a big lip on it old never had it replace before and upgrade also :)

    getting there....
    the rotors on these trucks are super easy to replace. you'll need to remove the 2 pins and clip from the caliper, then unbolt caliper and hang it outta the way....then the rotors will just slide off. you are planning on getting new pads to go with the new rotors,right?

    hey my buddy hooked me up with the rotors and ceramic pads :) thanks a lot cause i thought i had to pull off the center hub? to pull outt the rotors but appreciate the help

    nope.....dont have to mess with the hub at all. be sure to break in the new pads/rotors as well.......it'll help them perform optimally and wear even.:)

    I don't know the best brand for brake rotors or pads, but I see a lot of guys on here use slotted rotors, and use Hawk brake pads. Hopefully someone else can chime in on a good brand for the rotors.

    As far as doing it yourself, I would recommend getting a Haynes manual which will show you how to do that, with a step by step process. Or doing a YouTube search on the subject to better understand how its done.

    If you don't have all of the right tools and know how, then it could get dangerous. So you may want to take it in or find someone that can coach you along with it, and we can also coach you along if you have a question when doing it.

    i have prior knowledge with hondas so i get the basic ideas with toyotas but how would i break them in correctly?

    No hard braking, and glide in before having to brake. No hauling, or going downhill, so just take it easy on them.

    best way to break them in will be to run up to about 40mphor so, and brake down to about 10mph...do this about 4 or 5 times, them go park it for half an hour to let them cool down. always works for me.

    hey after i tried takin it out for a drive i hear a gridin noise.. and my brakes lost some pressure after bleedin it what do you think it's wrong
