    Still working on the transfer case skid but I tested out the IFS and Mid today and was pleasantly surprised. We went and did a local trail called mineral basin that is essentially a stream bed you follow up a canyon. LOTS of rocks. Nothing major but being on 33" tires and having a ton of gear to camp in the bed clearance is limited. The skids took multiple hits and a couple spots where I had my wife intentionally slide over big rocks to test them.

    The aluminum just scrape deeper than steel would but they definitely are beefy enough. At one point the whole truck was sliding on the IFS and MID and I couldn't see any deflection or dents. You can see a couple of the big scrapes in this picture.

    I've got a AllPro Apex front bumper, these should mount to that fine I'm assuming? This is a freaking killer deal and I was thinking about switching out my AllPro steel skids to lose some weight!

    Transfer case and gas skid plates are both still in prototype phase. I test fit them the other day but still need to tweak some things to get them to fit just right.

    To order just get in touch with me via email. I haven't started stocking these yet so there will be a lengthy wait time but I can get them started whenever you are ready.

    I have started making these. I don't have them in stock and am only bringing in a few at a time so lead times can vary. Right now lead times are at about 4 weeks.

    These are laser cut and press brake formed at a local shop here in Utah. I am not a fabrication shop by any means I do a few things but mostly design and oversee the the fabrication.

    Got the skids in the mail.. Great looking work and it will serve its intended purpose quite well.

    Anyone else installed these?

    Comes with two large rubber stoppers which I can't figure out where they go.

    Will post pics when I get home in a few weeks.

    The rear of the IFS skid bolts onto the cross member using the 6" lag bolts. Those rubber stoppers go in-between the skid and that cross member, and the skid tightens up against them. A couple o' tips:

    - Use the oem bolts from the factory skid to attach the front. Do not tighten until everything is installed!
    - I put the stoppers outboard of the rear mounting bolts. Install the lags, but leave them loose. Otherwise you'll struggle trying to get the mid skid into position.
    - Support the tranny crossmember with a jack then use the oem crossmember bolts to affix the mid. Do one side at a time just in case. The front of the mid slides OVER the IFS, and is bolted into position using the new hardware Zach sent.
    - Tighten everything down.
    - It's a puzzle getting everything to fit, and VERY close quarters when you tighten things down. I'm a rank beginner and got 'er done, so I guess how hard can it be?

    I love mine, and at this point I'd buy damn near anything Zach put in front of me.
