Yeah, I was thinking about the MBUS sight or a carry handle sight... How do you like it?

I love it, my 6.8 upper stays on my lower so the 223 upper stays in the range bag with the sight folded down, really low profile and it won't be in the way when I mount a red dot on the upper.

My dad has a similar upper from colt with the removable carry handle and while it looks classic it's more weight and bulk for only one more feature (the carry handle) that I'm not likely to use because of my sling.

Where you finding it at that price? I'm seeing it for $50 for that amount.

Good points, yeah I think I'll just go with the MBUS rear sight. More compact and just a better deal overall it seems.

Are you referring to the M&P 15-22 rifle? If so yea I own one. It's an awesome rifle. Very reliable and easy to clean. Only thing I don't like about the rifle is the stock foreend. For that reason, I removed it and replaced it with a much better quality foreend.

Your suggestions? And he doesn't stock them o_O he just recommended it considering I was looking for a 16" with a free float.. however i want my rail to be 15" with the flash hider barely sticking out.

    Here are a couple...

    Complete rifle:

Colt OEM2 (add your own rail system - like a KMR 15)
    http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=LE6920-OEM2

Just the upper (and add a blem'd complete lower receiver):

BCM LW upper with installed 15" KeyModRail
    http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-...Weight-Upp-p/bcm-urg-mid-16-bfh-elw-kmr15.htm

One's a middie and the other one has carbine gas. Regardless, both will serve you well.

Is anyone saying there are flaws with the core 15? I may just pick up like a Palmetto State Arms which he stocks and mod it from there.

Wound up going with the Core 15. It may run flawlessly, if it gives problems I'll probably build something. No big deal. Its just money.

You'll end up changing everything. I built my rifle the way I wanted it the first time and I still change things.
