What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

A bit late but got the windows tinted.

 

Stripped out my interior down to carpet so I can dynamat the rest of the car and begin my car audio install.

 

Used it for what it's for..Fun!

 

Doing the same thing next weekend.

how do you get the steering wheel emblem off

 

I used 2 or 3 soft plastic panel poppers and a razor blade to cut the clips that go into the steering wheel as u pry up on the emblem, all you need to do is barely cut the pins and they will break and the emblem will come out. Ps pull your horn fuse. Then epoxy back on

 

Got my rear work/bed LEDS installed, built the mounts and wired them up today. Had hell with my old 50" roof mounts. Rebuilt them a lot more heavy duty and re installed

 

do you remember where they connected to the wheel? like where the tab was

Yep that's exactly what I did, took a lot of patience as I didn't want to cut the leather that I look at everyday!

 

yeahh i feel you on that. i tried to derp mine... it didn't work to well so ill be looking into doing this prob tomorrow. i hate the chrome!

 

Fixed hid headlights

 

Redid armrests with black vinyl... came out ok, not great.. did this to fix cracked drivers armrest.

 

I agree and it's always a pain to paint, make sure you sand off all the chrome on the emblem aswell

 

I'm about to do the same thing, was thinking leather though. Is the cracked armrest a common problem? I have the same issue with my Taco. It's a 2010 and I just got it March and I noticed this early on.

 

Getting my windshield replaced.

 

Added NFab black step bars and removed mud flaps.
