    I used 2 or 3 soft plastic panel poppers and a razor blade to cut the clips that go into the steering wheel as u pry up on the emblem, all you need to do is barely cut the pins and they will break and the emblem will come out.     Got my rear work/bed LEDS installed, built the mounts and wired them up today. Had hell with my old 50" roof mounts. Rebuilt them a lot more heavy duty and re installed :D

    do you remember where they connected to the wheel? like where the tab was

    so you cut the tabs and superglue back on?

    Yep that's exactly what I did, took a lot of patience as I didn't want to cut the leather that I look at everyday!

    yeahh i feel you on that. i tried to derp mine... it didn't work to well so ill be looking into doing this prob tomorrow. i hate the chrome!

    I agree and it's always a pain to paint, make sure you sand off all the chrome on the emblem aswell

    I'm about to do the same thing, was thinking leather though. Is the cracked armrest a common problem? I have the same issue with my Taco. It's a 2010 and I just got it March and I noticed this early on.
