I'll stick around for you Canoehead. I want to see that rack! Haha. I'm in the middle of designing a safari rack for my Tracker as a first welding project.

Thats a cool video! B&G might be a bit too rough for me for the time being, Elershouse sounds quite doable for most of us in here though. Whay about stock height trucks? Friend of mine from work is interested in going

We could do the pipeline or muddy Myra, they're a little more stock friendly! Or the range, some technical parts but mostly stock doable. Some parts are more difficult

I only hit my sliders once. Skids would have been nice. But Toyota knows what they're doing, they mount everything way above the frame which is nice

Hey, anyone have a recommendation for a diff install, HRM area?
Thinking of getting a trutrac installed in my 07 TRD DCLB, I have the TRD sport, but the stock clutch diff has failed.

    thanks

To go from an LSD to a trutrac do you need to replace your carrier? I've never had anything like that done, craig did his m himself but he had an open diff! No frigging with preload or backlash

The Carrier is replaced yeah, but would be with an open diff to trutrac as well. Usually you will need to do preload and backlash reset any time you take the diff apart.

If/when we can all get together, we need a group photo. Theres a couple cool spots down here local to me, but it'd make for a nice sig banner, just my 2c

I usually tend to have sundays off. I say this and watch me work every damn sunday now.
