It won't be a salvage title though if ownership never changes. He wouldn't really be "buying it back". It is still his property and will be forever I'd he choses. They would just deduct the salvage value from the total payout.

If you want to keep it PM me I have been down this road. You need to know how to minimize how much the insurance company will screw you.

I miss a couple weeks and come back to catch up and found myself laughing at several posts. I don't recall getting the notifications but then I was really busy for a few weeks.

The trip was good. Moab is a must for everyone. It was my 4th or 5th time there. Ready to go back tomorrow!

Insurance guys coming out. Ma already talked to the guy, and they said they wont total the truck, he looked at it at the crash site but wants to get a better estimate on the price. I wont let them take it, i plan on keeping it for a long time. Even if they give me a few hundered bucks, I'll just have to put in some more hours and get it finished myself. Sucks, but every bit helps. The insurance lady for the cops, is supper nice and is doing everything to help us. Hopefully all turns out well.. Thanks for the info guys, i'll update everyone late next week when the door and fender comes in.

Can you buy just one of those George of the Jungle Fender Flares? I know Bushwacker makes you buy two at a time. Either two fronts or two rears.

I would have been hoping for a total. The early Tacos have depreciated just about as much as they ever will regardless of title status I feel. Plus if you kept the truck and fixed it yourself no one would ever know any different.

Ryan you need to hook me up with your connection lol maybe you can piece together a good frame for me :p

So guys just curious on what everyone thinks on the so far given HP specs of the new tacoma? I know HP doesn't matter in a truck. (Atleast to me all about torque.) But just wanted to hear if you guys had anything to say.
