Call them, maybe they can overnight you the correct springs for the mess up and give you a RMA for the wrong ones for the return.:notsure:

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Yeah cruiser outfitters is a hard shop to just call and get on the phone with. I email them and call and leave voicemail. Hopefully they call me back today before it gets too late for ARB down in Florida to send me the correct rear spring. I would have really liked to get this suspension all wrapped up this weekend but I don't think I'm going to be that lucky. So instead the front will be done and the rear will be waiting on a set of springs...since I can't adjust the panhard without them or install the shocks. But the rear break lines will be done!

Nahh Dawg. I'll just get everything ready. Probably wouldn't have even gotten to the rears until Sunday anyways.

And apparently these are the right spring... so a 3" spring will give me 4" of lift... these cruiser guys are pretty funny. He said to install and see what it does and we can fix it later if needed. Okay...

Yeah the chemical reaction of the spring metal and the FJ80 spring basket metal, along with the Diesel fumes cause the springs to gain a visual inch.

or that's complete bullshit and they sent you the wrong spring

It's a link rear end right ? ....that's a 1 to 1 ratio in the Dr. Seuss big book of suspension knowledge but maybe there is an EAF sub paragraph I missed ?

No it all has to do with spring rates. I went with some very high rates and don't have the weight back there for for to sag down to its suggested ride height, basically these are rated for 3" of lift with +800 lbs and I will only be running +400 lbs so should net me 3.5-4" of lift. I agree and understand their logic here but I was expecting a 4" lift spring. We shall see how she sits. Just sucks since I order the suspension for the weight I will have have vice do have so it should look pretty ass high till all the other stuff is done (bumper, drawers, fridge...) right now it's empty back there.
    Yes. But spring rate...

ahh ok... thought you said they actually measured only 3" longer than stock, not by spring rate. Wonder how the ride quality will be if you're only running 50% of the weight allowance...

Should be pretty good. That 400# was the everyday weight so when camping and whatnot it should be a bit more. I just started getting limited on what springs I could use because of how heavy the engine is. A little stiff I can deal with. Right now the 2.5" heavy duty TJM springs in the front are riding as high as a stock cruiser...maybe a little taller but not much. She's super heavy in the front.

cool... look forward to see'n her in person. one thing I loved about my 97 was how comfortable it was off road (stock springs)... washboards and what not were just soaked up by the coils...
